Prize

As well as a cash fund of $5750, this year the Prize is launching two new award categories; Creative Coding and the Animate Award. These awards, with a prize of $250 a piece, are added to the existing prizes:

  • Lumen Prize is awarding 7 cash prizes worth a total of US$5750 including:
    • $3000 for the Winner of Lumen Prize Gold
    • $1000 for Lumen Prize SIlver Award
    • $750 for Lumen Prize Bronze
    • $250 for the People’s Choice Award
    • $250 each for the Founder’s Prize
    • $250 for a new Creative Coding Award recognising excellence in art that is originally coded
    • $250 for the new Lumen Animate Award in partnership with Animate Projects
  • Top 100 Works will win a place in the 2014 Lumen Online Gallery which opens in September 2014.
  • Shortlist of 25 Works will be awarded a place in the 2014/15 Lumen Prize Exhibition which will tour the world from October 2014 to March 2015.

How to Join

Enter the Lumen Prize Exhibition. The entry fee is US $40 and allows the submission of two (2) works.
